New Scan Document to USB Service Available at the Cliffdale Regional Branch Library

FAYETTEVILLE, NC - The Cumberland County Public Library's Cliffdale Regional Branch, located at 6882 Cliffdale Rd., is pleased to offer a much requested service, scanning documents to a USB flash drive. As more and more business is handled electronically, scanned images of documents are frequently being required by businesses and government agencies.

The process is simple: Insert the money, place a USB in the port, select the "scan to external memory" option and hit start. The document is scanned and saved within seconds, ready to upload to e-mail via one of the library's computers or the customer's own. The cost of the scan is $0.50 per page.

This service will soon be available at other library locations.
