That cold North Carolina winter is just right around the corner and while we enjoy having a full winter season in the Tar Heel state, it is still nice to stay cozy and indoors. During the holidays, family traditions are in full force. Learn about the traditions of local families: from Greek food to giving to others.
Sometimes hot chocolate and memorable times with your children or grandchildren can be soothing to the soul. Try building a Gingerbread House and use all their favorite candies! You can use a pre-made Gingerbread House or concoct your own using the recipe on page **.
And while we love playing in the twice-a-year snow flurries that are sure to hit the Sandhills, you may want to also participate in some indoor wintertime activities like the ones on page **.
We hope that you and your family have a very Merry Christmas this year and a Happy New Year!Fun Things To Do: Winter - 11/25/2015 08:59AM
