The Chef Auction payed tribute to the culinary excellence of local chefs and caterers from the community and surround areas, all the while helping raise (all net proceeds) to benefit Friendship House Fayetteville.
During the evening, local chefs and caterers presented their signature dishes during a cocktail reception, which included a silent auction. A live auction followed with packages that included unique local items and trips.
Friendship House Fayetteville is an intentional living community that provides affordable,
integrated housing for young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) and
healthcare students. Friendship House Fayetteville will be located on Arsenal Ave. between Highland Ave. and Broadfoot Ave.
Mission: At its core, this faith-based community is rooted in table fellowship expressed through a daily rhythm of eating, praying and celebrating together. Each home will consist of two apartment suites for one “friend” resident and three healthcare students. Students gain compassion in how they care for patients, and friend residents are empowered to learn independent living skills to become productive and responsible adults.
