Click Read More to see Nick Ochsner's post about Sarah Palin's visit to Elon University. It's nice to be a North Carolinian these days -- so popular with the politicians! Palin and John McCain have been crisscrossing our state. McCain was here Tues. Barack Obama was here a week or so ago and his wife Michelle is in town today. It must be election season ... Allison

If you think young people don't care about politics, well, I hope you've had a chance to check out our story about Phillip Gilfus and Nick Ochsner. We predicted that we'd hear more about these two. Turns out we were right. Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin is planning a visit to Elon University this week, where Nick Ochsner is a student. He's busy coordinating about 100 student volunteers for Palin's visit as I write. Check here later this week for his posts about what's it like when presidential politics come to North Carolina.Allison

With this new Health & Fitness issue, I decided it was time for an early resolution -- to start blogging again! (A resolution of the mind and typing fingers, perhaps?) I received some inspiration from our featured artist this month, Erica Stankwytch Bailey. Erica is just as comfortable blogging it out as she is banging out pieces of metal, to steal copy from my own story. I highly recommend her blog at www.ericastankwytchbailey.blogspot.comAnd of course I recommend all of the stories in this new issue. We're excited about the new e-version of the magazine -- now all of our stories, photos, features and advertisements can be found online. If CityView can go electronic, well, there's no excuse for me not to do the same. I promise to add new posts -- and read your replies! Can't wait to hear from you.Allison

Speaking of Docks (don't forget to check out writer Thad Mumau's story), and I don't know about you, but I can't wait to see who will snag the retail spaces in front there. Downtown Fayetteville is on the move, down and UP Hay Street, and on and off Hay, too. (OK, that's one hint about an upcoming story). The city of dogwoods is on the move, folks. (All right, all right, two hints!)
