National Poppy Day
Join with The American Legion and wear a red poppy Friday, May 26.
National Poppy Day is to remember fallen heroes. Show your support for those serving on active duty and keep your promise to honor veterans for generations to come.
Here are a few ways you can participate:
Wear a red poppy all day and tell everyone why
Distribute poppies to friends, co-workers and family
Accept a flower and make a donation if you see a member of The American Legion in your neighborhood distributing poppies
The red poppy is an internationally recognized symbol of wartime sacrifice worn to honor those who served and died for their country.
