Haven’t put up the Christmas tree yet? Are your stockings not hanging by the chimney with care?
Do you even own an elf on the shelf?
It’s not too late to put up your Christmas décor and hang your stockings. And if you’re on a budget, I can give you even better advice.
Here are some easy do-it-yourself ideas that are attractive AND affordable.
If you’re looking for way to spruce up your table or mantel for the holidays, a large clear vase of brightly colored ornaments may fit the bill!
Ornaments: $1.00 at Dollar Tree
Vase: $3.00 to $7.00 at TJ Maxx, Ross, Marshall’s or any of the craft stores like Michael’s
To add a little more sugar and spice to your mantel, try filling more of those same glass vases with candy in coordinating colors to your décor.
(Just don’t eat it all…. or blame it on the elf.)
Candy: $2.00-$5.00 a bag
To deck your halls and walls, try gift bow garland. This would be a great project for the whole family!
Simply take string and a bag of gift bows and press the sticky part of the bow on the string… REPEAT about 12 times and…. SHAZAM… Gift Bow Garland!
Have fun decking the halls y’all and….
