The United Way of Cumberland County hosted its 2014-2015 kickoff luncheon with agency directors, UWCC supporters, and guest speaker, Dr. Frank Till, the Cumberland County School Superintendent. United Way premiered its 2014 Impact Video and announced the fundraising campaign goal.

The Umoja Festival is a wonderful event celebrating African Heritage and diversity within the community. E.E. Smith High School’s Marching Band performed, vendors sold heritage clothing, food, drinks and health fair services provided information for those who attended.
