Pulitzer Prize winner to speak at Airborne Museum

The Airborne & Special Operations Museum will host the event, “9/11 Remembrance, Twenty Years Later with David Zucchino,” at 6 p.m. on Sept. 9. Zucchino, a two-time Pulitzer Prize-winning author and journalist with Fayetteville ties, was featured in the August issue of CityView: https://www.cityviewnc.com/2021/08/02/editors-corner-life-long-learning/

Zucchino, who won his more recent Pulitzer in June for the book, “Wilmington’s Lie – The Murderous Coup of 1898 and the Rise of White Supremacy,” will talk about the past 20 years of Afghanistan coverage.

His appearance is part of the Distinguished Speaker Series and is free for Museum Friend members and active-duty soldiers. There is a $10 admission fee for all other members of the public
