Haymount Food Summit promotes local food trucks, industry networking for community

Today from 4-6:30 p.m., be sure to visit the Haymount Truck Stop for a Food Summit, hosted by the Women’s Business Center of Fayetteville. Food trucks scheduled to participate include Hollywood Java, Authentique Café, R Burger, Sinful Decadence Cupcakes, 876 Flavaz and Miller’s Crew.

The space, once home to Haymont Auto Repair and Haymount BP, is soon to be converted into the Haymount Truck Stop – Fayetteville’s first food truck court. The announcement for the new addition to the Haymount district was made in April of 2021. Set to open this fall, this new addition promises a full-service bar, outdoor patio space, an arcade and a rotating lineup of local food trucks.

Today’s event will serve as a preview of things to come. In addition to offering this food truck experience, attendees can also look forward to networking and resources provided by the Women’s Business Center. Caitlin Chastain, business consultant with the center, highlighted this event as an opportunity to bring Fayetteville’s food industry together.

Whether you’re visiting a tried-and-true favorite truck or eager to try something new, good food and fellowship are likely to be found at this unique gathering of food trucks and entrepreneurs.
