Sidney Otto Cochran Jr, 72, of Fayetteville, NC, died Monday, July 1, 2024, at Duke University Hospital, Durham, NC.
Sidney was born January 9, 1952, in Radford, VA, to the late Sidney Otto Cochran and Virginia Bright Cochran. He was the owner of a successful automobile repair shop for over 20 years.
Sidney is survived by his wife Sherry Cochran, son Michael Cochran, daughter-in-law Jennifer Cochran, Jennifer’s mother Nancy Tuck, and two beautiful granddaughters, Leila and Lucy Cochran.

Bucky was a great friend to me. We lifted weights together and ran around some. I looked up to him in high school because he was a good role model. He is sadly missed and I pray God’s peace and comfort for his family
