Judy Garland sang it best in “Meet Me in St. Louis.”
There’s something special about the fair that gives you permission to have a laugh or indulge in cotton candy.
The Cumberland County Fair will return to the Crown Complex on Sept. 1-10.
The fair will showcase the history of agricultural communities, celebrate a diversity of local arts and crafts and provide family entertainment.
Midway rides, livestock exhibits, game booths and fun foods are all part of the fun.
Admission is generally $10, but there are special deals on specific nights.
Health care professionals will be admitted free on Sept. 1. On Sunday, Sept. 3, admission is $5 for those with a church bulletin. Sept. 6 is BOGO and senior night, with ages 65 and older admitted free. And Sept. 10 brings free admission for military personnel and first responders.
More information is at crowncomplex.com/events.
