Good morning. My name is Evey Weisblat and I’m the government accountability reporter for CityView. You may know me from typing in the background at Fayetteville City Council meetings, but I also cover stories about the environment, military and social justice — today, I’m sharing a few of them.

With a focus on daily news and investigative reporting, I’ve had the opportunity to work on some impactful stories this year. Some of my favorites include my series exposing the sudden closure of the State Veterans Home, my reporting examining the credibility of the city’s Ethics Commission, my investigation of pollution from the Fay Block Materials concrete factory, and so much more.

Welcome to CityView Today. I am proud to be a part of this diverse and passionate community, and as I prepare for another year of reporting at CityView, I vow to continue serving as a watchdog of local government.

See you tomorrow,
Evey Weisblat
