Good morning. Attendees of a public input meeting on the second phase of Heritage Park heard updates and provided feedback to the Hope Mills Parks & Recreation Department on the park’s design plans and construction costs. The Thursday meeting marked the official kickoff of the master plan’s design process.

Phase 2 of the park is expected to include a playground, shelter, outdoor classroom, trails, pump house restoration, parking and a canoe launch. Construction is set to begin in fall 2026.
