Linda Lin Young, 91, passed away on May 16, 2025, in Fayetteville, N.C. Her warmth, wisdom, and sense of humor will be sorely missed by her entire family. Born on March 11, 1934, in Chiayi, Taiwan, she moved to the United States in 1964. She was a proud local business owner, running a hair salon in Fayetteville for 50 years. She is survived by her partner, Gil Hartwick, her daughter, Betty Lynch, and son-in-law, Derek Furbank, as well as her grandchildren, Lani and Alex Furbank. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Young, and her four siblings. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, May 21, at Adcock Funeral Home Chapel in Spring Lake, N.C.
