Keith Edward Garner, 67, of Fayetteville, passed away on September 15, 2025, at his home.
He was born on June 19, 1958, in California to Bonnie Schmidt Garner and the late William Joe Garner. Keith proudly served in the U.S. Army for eight years. He worked as a mechanic and in maintenance at the House of Raeford and later at Smithfield Packing Co. He held several trade certificates.
Keith enjoyed scuba diving, NASCAR, and attending tractor pulls.
He was preceded in death by his father, William Joe Garner, and his brother Kevin Garner.
He is survived by his son, Brooks Gardner (Amanda); grandchildren, Conner Broome, Wyatt Gardner, Alexander “Xander” Gardner, and William “Will” Gardner; great-granddaughter, Claire Johnson; his mother, Bonnie Suzette Schmidt Linge; sister, Kimberly Jo Griffith; and brother, Kyle Garner.
A gathering of friends will be held Saturday, October 4, 2025, from 1–2 p.m. at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home.
