Hey, hey, hey all my first-time CityView Magazine readers! I can’t wait to share with you how you can create magic in the kitchen in less than an hour. I know that with all the things we are surviving in the world, the last thing we need is to stress about pulling together something to satisfy everyone’s sweet tooth or to bring to the potluck at work. Now, before we dive into how easy this recipe will be, allow me to share a quick introduction of myself.
My name is Kisha Lesane. I was born and raised in North Carolina, and I had the opportunity to call Fayetteville home. No matter where I travel in this world as a traveling food blogger/CEO of A Pinch of Butter or as a chef in training, I will always be a Southern girl from a small quaint town. I am that girl who believes food can solve so many problems in the world. I am also the person who knows Sundays are for gathering with family over a great meal because Grandma cooked everyone’s favorite meal. For starters, here is my simple four-step recipe that anyone can make.
This recipe is convenient as you start to wind down for the day and reflect on all the things you were able to get accomplished, such as getting up, getting dressed and just plain adulting. Let’s be honest guys, that by itself is hard. You look in your cabinets and only have a few things, because honestly who has had time to get to the store? No need to worry, this is the recipe you were looking for.
Cinnamon Toast Crunch Cereal
Butter (Because butter makes everything better)
½ bag of marshmallows
Combine half a stick of butter and ½ bag of marshmallows in a skillet over medium heat. Stir until marshmallows are completely melted. Once the mixture is melted, turn off the heat and pour 1½ cup of cinnamon toast crunch into the butter and marshmallows mixture. Combine quickly until the cereal is covered. Pour onto a cookie sheet pan or use a muffin pan lined with baking cups. One more step: Go celebrate because you did It!
