The North Carolina Department of Information Technology will bring its “Closing the Digital Divide Listening Tour to Fayetteville on Tuesday. Eighth-grade STEM students at Seventy-First Classical Middle School launched rockets that they "made from scratch" on Wednesday afternoon in the back lawn of the main school building. The hands-on activity required the students to design and build their own rockets, according to a news release from Cumberland County Schools.
