The summer Art Walkabout was held in downtown Fayetteville Friday evening. The seasonal walkabouts are held by a grassroots collective of art galleries. The art displays during the summer walkabout included a uniquely decorated mannequin at each gallery.

Skateboarding Rowan Park

Skateboarders turned out Saturday to enjoy a large skate ramp that was set up for the day at Rowan Park as part of a groundbreaking celebration for a $1 million skate park planned at the site. The weather was sweltering but the skateboarders looked happy.
