The “2023 Invitational Abstract Exhibition: The Seven Elements,” presented by Cape Fear Studios, 148 Maxwell St., will be open to the public from March 24 until April 25. The art exhibit is free and open to the public.
The seven elements of art are color, form, line, shape, space, texture, and value. Mastery of these seven basic elements is important for artists to achieve mastery of their art. It is an understanding of these elements of art that makes artwork interesting and creates an impact on viewers.
Cape Fear Studios is open from 11 a.m. to 5 p,m. Tuesday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.
