Grandparents were honored during this annual event Sunday, September 11, 2016. This annual program is held to honor senior citizens, especially grandparents.
Residents from nursing/convalescent homes enjoyed a free day of entertainment in an old-timey, down-home picnic setting.
Visitors were encouraged to bring their grandparents or interact with elderly residents who may not have family in the area.
Trophies, acknowledgements, and prizes were awarded in several categories.
