Arnold “Arnie” Ray Varnadoe, 50, of Fayetteville passed away at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center on July 3, 2022.
Arnie was born in Cumberland County on March 26, 1972 to Jeff Varnadoe, Sr. and the late Judith Hoyum Varnadoe. Besides his mother, he is preceded in death by his wife, Cristina Marfisi Varnadoe.
Arnie was the life of the party and always had a joke or smart response. He owned and operated “Arnie’s Barber Shop” and was the best barber on this side of town. He enjoyed riding dirt bikes and motorcycles, telling stories, and keeping chivalry alive. Arnie had a tremendous life and overcame many obstacles. He was a great father and a great friend to many and will be missed.
Arnie is survived by his children, Kayla D. Varnadoe, A.J. Varnadoe (Rylee) and Haylee M. Varnadoe; father, Jeff Varnadoe, Sr.; siblings, Pam McCully (Mike), Jeff Varnadoe, Jr., and Ben Wilcox; niece, Michelle Gunstanson; nephew, Jonathan McCully and all of his Eureka Springs Crew.
