Arts Council offers grants for culture, history programs

The Arts Council of Fayetteville-Cumberland County is offering two grant opportunities for arts, culture and history programs.

The C.O.RE. Grant is available to nonprofit cultural arts, science, and history-based agencies, according to a news release.

The grants provide operating support for annual cultural programming and educational services that are considered vital to cultural life in Cumberland County, the release said. Awards start at $30,000.

Awards are for as much as $10,000. Organizations may apply for as many as three projects.

In 2022, the Arts Council awarded 21 agencies more than $750,000 in C.O.RE. and Project Support Grants for cultural arts programming, the release said.

Funding is available through partnerships with Cumberland County, the city of Fayetteville, and the Grassroots Arts Program of the North Carolina Arts Council.

Grant workshops are planned in February and March, the release said.
