The Fayetteville Woodpeckers (34-41, 4-5 second half) broke open a seven-run lead over the first two innings of Monday’s game but still had to edge out an 8-7 victory over the Kannapolis Cannon Ballers (40-34, 5-4 second half) to grab a series split at Segra Stadium. 

The Fayetteville Woodpeckers (33-41, 3-5) were unable to break through offensively against the Kannapolis Cannon Ballers (40-33, 5-3) on Sunday afternoon at Segra Stadium. Kannapolis took the series lead back with an 11-1 win over the Woodpeckers. 

The Fayetteville Woodpeckers (33-40, 3-4 second half) carried a 3-2 lead into the top of the ninth inning on Saturday night and had the Kannapolis Cannon Ballers (39-33, 4-3 second half) down to their final out until a thunderstorm halted action and caused an hourlong delay. The game ultimately reverted to the last out of the eighth inning and was called final with Fayetteville winning 3-2.

The Fayetteville Woodpeckers (32-40, 2-4 second half) grabbed an early three-run lead in the first inning on Friday night and carried it to a 4-1 victory over in the Kannapolis Cannon Ballers (39-32, 4-2 second half) in six innings as heavy rain led to the action being called early at Segra Stadium.

The Fayetteville Woodpeckers (31-39, 1-3 second half) let a couple of defensive miscues on Wednesday night lead to a pair of three-run innings from the opposing Kannapolis Cannon Ballers (38-31, 3-1 second half) in a 7-2 defeat at Segra Stadium.
