Barbara Jean Cox, 82, of Fayetteville, passed away on January 8, 2025.
Barbara was preceded in death by her two brothers, a sister, and a grandson. She is lovingly remembered by her devoted husband, Raymond Cox of the home; daughters, Rebecca Wilson of Stedman and Deborah Cottrell (husband, Brad) of Eastover, NC; sons, Robert Smith of Eastover, NC, Donnie E. Jackson (wife, Victoria) of Eastover, NC, and Kenneth Jackson; brother, Warren Gray (wife, Ginny) of Texas; 11 grandchildren: Jessie, Keith, Autumn, Jennifer, Boo, Brittany, Heather, Jonathan, Shandi, Ashley, Raven, and Rachel; 17 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at Macedonia Baptist Church. The visitation will be held from 12:45 PM to 1:45 PM, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM, officiated by Pastor Joe Hickson. Interment will take place immediately after the service.
Barbara’s love and warmth will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
