Bobette Mason Scull went home to be with our Lord and Savior on February 23, 2026 at the age of 83. Bobette was born in Cape May Court House, NJ on December 19, 1942. Bobette was proceeded in death by her husband of 47 years, Sherman Dailey Scull, her father, Robert Peterson, her mother, Alice Peterson. Bobette is survived by her daughter, Kasey Ivey; son-in- law, David Ivey; granddaughter, Dailey Ivey; niece, Pauline ‘Polly’ Correll & husband Steve Correll; nephew Robert ‘Bobby’ Shensky & wife Jean Shensky; great nieces & nephews Jana Schellinger, Jake Shensky, Brad Shensky, Lindsay Newport & Lauren Acquaviva, along with their spouses and many great-great nieces & nephews. Bobette is also survived by her best friend and family by choice, Betty Anne Borland & husband Chuck Borland, Jennifer Maher & husband Mike Maher & their children and Sherry Anne Phillips & her daughters.

Bobette lived a very full life. Her childhood years were spent in Goshen. When she finally found her soulmate, Sherman ‘Bud’ Scull, he happened to be 14 years her senior; and some (a lot)
thought it would never last. Their daughter, Kasey, was born in 1981. Bobette retired from Middle Township as the Registrar of Vital Statistics. On many nights throughout the year, you could find her working part time in the box office of the Stone Harbor movie theater. Bobette was a wonderful wife & mother. She was the ultimate dance mom, driving her daughter back & forth to the studio for years & years; then eventually took over the same duties for the “light of her life,” granddaughter Dailey Lynn Ivey. Over the years, Bobette traveled many places domestically & abroad with Bud. They created a beautifully long list of destinations & memories. Bobette was a tireless prayer warrior. If she was in your corner, you knew she would always have your back  help the best she could…just ask Betty Anne.

As a faithful family, we know that God has our beginning & our end written before we are born (Psalm 139:16). On February 24, 2025, Bobette’s soulmate was called home to Heaven. Her last
act of love was to kiss him on his forehead, quietly whispering “I’ll see you soon.” Little did we all know how soon that would be. 364 days later, my mom passed away quietly & peacefully with no suffering and was reunited with my dad. God’s orchestrated plan. I have so much comfort knowing how divinely my parents’ marriage was planned that they were to go home to heaven within 1 year of each other…a perfect earthly ending to their heavenly eternity together. This is their greatest adventure yet. I love you, mom. I miss you & dad, but I know you are both always with me. David will take good care of me & Dailey. Until we meet again
