Body found inside Enoch Avenue home, woman injured outside, police say

Homicide investigators called in after domestic disturbance report

A 20-year-old man was found dead inside a home on Enoch Avenue and a woman with injuries was outside early Tuesday, according to the Fayetteville Police Department.

A domestic disturbance was reported at the home in the 100 block of Enoch Avenue about 5:30 a.m. Tuesday, according to a news release.

The dead man was identified as Shahid Roszik Page,  20. 

The preliminary investigation found that Page suffered from gunshot wounds to the chest and died as a result of his injuries, the news release said.  

This is the seventh homicide in Fayetteville in 2023, the release said.  

The Police Department’s Homicide Unit is investigating the case, the release said.  

Investigators said this does not appear to be a random incident and there is no threat to public safety, the release said.
