City of Fayetteville website offers chatbot customer service platform


Visitors to the city of Fayetteville's website can now access a customer service platform developed with the latest artificial intelligence-driven chatbot technology. AskFAYNC allows visitors to get answers to questions, find information on city services, submit service requests, send a message to staff, or sign up for text message notifications, according to a news release.  

The AskFAYNC Let's Chat icon is found in the bottom right section of a mobile or desktop browser window at FayettevilleNC.gov, the release said.

To start a conversation via text message, residents can text “Hello” to 888-82-FAYNC (32962), the release said.
