Spring is a favorite season for many and especially those who are in school. For kids, spring means that summer is just around the corner and for those juniors and seniors in high school…it means prom season. This rite of passage is an important part of the teenage experience and I am sure your child won’t stop talking about what sparkly, flowy dress or what sharp tuxedo they’ll be wearing. In this issue of CityView Family we have a spread on prom trends for 2015 thanks to our local prom, pageant and formal wear retailer, An Affair to Remember. Easter is also upon us and in addition to church on Easter Sunday, you may also be dying eggs with your children. Egg dying is something those of all ages can enjoy, but for more activities for our seniors during these warm spring months, read page 34 for a list of fun things to do from the experts at Home Instead Senior Care. And with spring means the beginning of baseball season. On page 25 find out more about the Fayetteville Swamp Dogs and their host family program. In this issue, we feature Larry and Sue Rose, a local retired military couple that opened their loving home last summer to Jordy Farthing, who was a star pitcher for the team. At CityView Family, we hope you hit this season out of the park!
