Posted

A love story that will go on forever and always! Wesley and Evelyn had such a rich and passionate love for each other, and it was very rare to see one without the other. Anyone who has ever met them fell in love with them. They both had such an aura around them that no one could forget. They met online and, shortly after, they married on Thursday, Nov. 20, 2008, in Smithfield, N.C., at the Walmart Vision Center.

Claude “Wesley” Coward was born on Saturday, March 31, 1951, in Greenville, N.C., and he joined his loved ones on Friday, May 8, 2023. He served our country and medically retired from the Army. Wesley is survived by two sisters, a brother, two daughters, one son, six grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife and a sister.

Evelyn Coward was born on Saturday, Oct. 4, 1958, in Miami, Florida, and joined her loved ones in heaven on Friday, April 28, 2023. She retired from Walmart Vision Center. Evelyn is survived by three sisters, three brothers, one daughter, and four grandsons. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother and two grandchildren.

Together, they had a very fruitful life with four kids, 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. They both loved to travel, riding their bright yellow Cam-Am motorcycle, their family and friends, and enjoying life to the fullest every day, like it was their last. They are together again, and their memories will live forever in all the hearts they touched.
