Connections of Cumberland County, an organization that works diligently to help homeless women and their families in this community, is searching for a new executive director.
The nonprofit announced this week that executive director Crystal Bennett is resigning.
”Crystal has been a tremendous asset during her five years as our executive director,” said Mary Flagg Haugh, president of the board of directors. “She has worked extremely hard to move the organization forward, connect CCC collaboratively within the community and strengthen our mission to empower clients to develop paths to reach self-sufficiency. Crystal has led the organization with passion, grace and creativity and will be missed by all. We wish her the very best in her new endeavor."
The board is pleased, however, to announce that Crystal G. DePietro will serve as a part-time interim executive director. DePietro is an outpatient therapist who has served as the Case Management Coordinator at CCC. In addition to her master of social work degree, she is a licensed clinical social worker-associate and certified case manager.
Connections will be conducting a search for a new executive director. Interested candidates should visit connectionsofcc.org or contact Mary Flagg Haugh at 910-850-5396.
