County to consider committee nominations, appointments

The Cumberland County Board of Commissioners on Monday will consider committee nominations and appointments and hear about the Soil and Water Conservation District.

The board meets at 9 a.m. in Room 118 at the Judge E. Maurice Braswell Cumberland County Courthouse. 

Gretta Steffens, the new administrative program officer for the Cumberland County Soil and Water Conservation District, is scheduled to provide a presentation on the Soil and Water Conservation District.

The board also is expected to consider nominations for the Equalization and Review Board, which has four vacancies; the Mid-Carolina Aging Advisory Council, which has three vacancies; and the Joint Fort Bragg & Cumberland County Food Policy Council, which has four vacancies.

It also will consider appointments to the Home and Community Care Block Grant Committee and to the Mid-Carolina Aging Advisory Council.
