Graduation ceremonies begin next week for the Class of 2022 of Cumberland County Schools.
Diplomas will be presented in ceremonies at the Crown Coliseum beginning Thursday, according to a news release from the school system.
Graduating students are given a set number of tickets for family and friends. Requests for additional tickets must be made at the student’s school, the release said.
Guests should arrive one hour before the start of the ceremony to ensure sufficient time to pass through security checkpoints.
Flowers, balloons and other gifts for graduates will not be allowed in the coliseum.
Also prohibited are outside food and beverages; handheld lasers, lights and pointers; backpacks and purses; and weapons including guns and knives.
Guests are asked not to applaud, yell or cause a disruption when a student’s name is called. Photography and video recording will be allowed from a guest’s seat or using a tripod set up in designated space behind the seating area.
Graduates will exit from the Crown Expo Center.
The Crown Coliseum is at 1960 Coliseum Drive.
