Cumberland County Schools to host Choice Fair Saturday

Posted

Cumberland County Schools will hold its Choice Fair 2022 on Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon at E.E. Smith High School, 1800 Seabrook Road.

Families will have the opportunity to learn more about the different Choice Programs available, their customized benefits and the application process, the school system said in a release.

Faculty and staff from each program will be available to answer questions.

Whether students want to immerse themselves in a new language, express themselves through dance, or earn college credit while in high school, there is a program designed just for them, the release said.

"We proudly offer a variety of programs for our families to choose from because we believe in the power of differentiated learning," Mellotta Hill, CCS assistant superintendent of Instructional Programs, said in a release.

The Choice Program application window for the 2023-24  school year began Nov.  28 and ends Jan. 31. To learn more about specific programs and to access the  CCS Choice Program Guide, go to  www.choice.ccs.k12.nc.us.
