Daniel Howard Hagerman, 71 years old, passed away on September 22, 2022.
Daniel is preceded in death by his parents, Mack and Helen Hagerman; brothers, Kenneth Hagerman and Steve Hagerman; and grandson, Daniel Ryan Charpentier. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his beloved wife, Donna Hagerman; daughters, Tia Montgomery (husband, Jan Montgomery), Stephanie Anderson, Jennifer Partney, Chantelle Powell (husband, Norman Powell), and Angel Klein; brothers, Larry Hagerman, and Dwight Hagerman; son, Daniel Hagerman, Bryan Proctor; daughter in law, Melissa Ayscue; grandchildren, Lyric Montgomery, Austin Duke, Danny Lee Proctor, Raissa Charpentier, Cara Allen, Brooke Webb, and Bri Webb; great granddaughter, Hazel Proctor; and beloved companion, Pee Dee.
Daniel was a loving husband, dad, papa, and one of a kind friend to many. He was originally from Jolo, West Virginia but spent most of his life in North Carolina. He spent years as a contractor, Daniel was literally Mr. Fix It! He was a talented hobbyist and woodworker; he enjoyed figuring out how to make things work and creating things. Daniel loved to travel and was an avid fisherman that loved boating and being on the water. He loved music and playing his guitars. Daniel also loved history, and, in that love, he discovered many family members in research and created new friendships and relationships through that research.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 25, 2022, at Rogers and Breece Funeral Home from 12 to 2 PM. A graveside service will be held at Fayetteville Memorial Cemetery at 2:30 PM with Pastor Melanie Swofford officiating.
