David Quincy Williams, Jr., 80, of Eastover passed away on Monday, September 18, 2023, at his home with his beloved family by his side.
David was born October 8, 1942, in Robeson County, NC to the late Dorothy Dove and David Quincy Williams, Sr.
David was a retired letter carrier with the U.S. Postal Service for 38 years. After retirement, he worked at Hertz Rental Car for 12 years. He was a faithful member of Lebanon Baptist Church.
Memorial services will be held on Friday, September 22, 2023, at 3 PM at Lebanon Baptist Church. Inurnment will follow in the Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Church on Friday from 1:30-3:00 PM.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 52 years, Kay Fussell Williams; daughter, Candy Williams Phipps (Ron), son, Trei Williams (Deborah); sister, Diane Williams Fussell; grandchildren, Brantley Morgan (Stephanie), Allison Phipps, Emily Phipps Haire (James), Wade Williams, Sydney Phipps Godwin (Cullen), Molly Williams; great-granddaughter, Brooke Morgan; nieces, Traci Fussell Harrell (Todd) and Anna, Joanna Fussell Winfrey (Bill); nephews, Garland Fussell and Mike Fussell (Kaye).
