Deborah Mary Farr, 70, of Fayetteville, NC passed away on September 24, 2023.
Deborah was preceded in death by her loving husband of 50 years, Terry Eugene Farr Sr., and her parents, Edward and Gladys Alvord. Deborah is survived by her son, Terry E. Farr, Jr. (Heather) of Creedmoor, NC; daughter, Angela Farr of St. Pauls, NC; grandson, Chavis Smith Jr. of Fayetteville, NC; great granddaughter, Serenity Johnson of Burlington, NC; and siblings, Victoria Tothill of Lockport, NY; Edward Alvord (Sandy) of Lockport, NY; Mark Alvord (Anita) of Pendleton, NY; and Cynthia Alvord of Lockport, NY.
Deborah was born January 19, 1953, in Lockport, NY to Edward and Gladys Alvord. Deborah loved to travel and take cruises with her husband, and she cherished the time they spent at their beach condo. She also loved to spend time with her family and pray the rosary.
Deborah was a retired pharmacy technician at Walmart and loved to assist customers. Deborah was such a loving and giving person and will be deeply missed by her family and all others whose life that she touched.
A Visitation Service will be held at 12pm followed by a Memorial Service at 1pm on Saturday, October 7, 2023, at Saint Patrick Catholic Church in Fayetteville, NC.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Deborah’s honor to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
