Dennis Woodford Rickman, 73, of Fayetteville went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, November 16, 2024, at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.
Dennis was born on February 28, 1951, in Columbus, Mississippi to the late Ollie Winston Rickman and Elizabeth Huckaby Rickman. As a young boy the family moved to Sheffield, Alabama where he was raised and became a true Alabama Fan.

Dennis retired from the IRS (Fayetteville Office) after 23 years of service and went on to become owner and operator of Rickman and Associates, Inc.
He was a devout Christian and loved sharing his faith with others. In 1975, he became a member of Mt. Gilead Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon, Sunday School Teacher, RA Leader, and several other positions. His love for the Lord led him to become a member of The Gideons International, where he served for many years. He also attended RHEMA Bible College.
Dennis loved his family and especially his sweet grandchildren. He enjoyed watching westerns, collecting diecast cars, fishing, and loved the many family dogs.
