Donald Ray Blankenship, 93, of Sanford, passed away Monday, February 2, 2026 at his home surrounded by family.

A funeral service will be held Thursday, February 12, 2026 at 12pm at Northwood Temple. The family will receive friends the evening before, Wednesday February 11, 2026 from 5-7pm at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home. Donald will be laid to rest at Lafayette Memorial Park with full military honors following the service.
