Eagle Scout Ceremony

Posted

Eagle Scout Ceremony is a rare occasion in a boys’ life and four Eagle Scouts have came out of Troop 787 at the same time.  This is unheard of in most Boy Scout Circles as the statistics show that only 2 boys out of 100 scouts make the Eagle Scout Rank.

The scouts are:  Connor Lewis, C.J. Mathieu, Jack Adorjan and George Hicks.

The Eagle Scouts’ projects contributed to their community in many ways:  one built a light for the statue of the Virgin Mary in the front of St. Patrick School, to make it safer at night for the members of the parish, one built shelters for the dogs at Animal Haven to protect them from the elements, one stocked the community pantry and had a community-wide pantry drive for Catholic Charities, and one commissioned Pastoral Art reflecting the history of our church, which is hanging in our sanctuary.
