A busy weekend of N.C. Independent Schools Athletic Association playoff competition involving Fayetteville private schools is ahead, with a number of matches at local schools.
In boys’ soccer, Fayetteville Academy will be home to Thales-Rolesville in the third round of the NCISAA 2-A playoffs.
Multiple teams remain in volleyball. Today, Fayetteville Christian goes to Cary Christian in the 3-A volleyball playoffs. Two matches are scheduled Saturday, both in Fayetteville, in the 2-A playoffs.

PHYSICALS
Athletes from N.C. High School Athletic Association schools are reminded they need to get a physical before they can practice or play as NCHSAA schools resume off-season conditioning and prepare to start competition in cross country and volleyball later this month.
Any athlete who cannot get in to see their family physician can get a physical exam for $25 at FastMed Urgent Care by mentioning the code 10NCA.
In Cumberland County, FastMed is located at 150 Francam Drive, Suite 120, off Ramsey Street near Methodist University.
