Fayetteville After 5 announces concert lineup

Led Zeppelin and Eagles cover bands, Rivermist to headline summer concert series

Led Zeppelin and Eagles cover bands and Rivermist are scheduled to headline the Fayetteville After 5 concert series.

The concerts are free and open to the public.

Fayetteville After 5 is held downtown at Festival Park. Gates open at 5 p.m. with musical entertainment to begin at 6 p.m.

The first show of the series, which was announced earlier this month during the Dogwood Festival Media Day, will be On the Border, the Ultimate Eagles Tribute Band. That show is set for June 10.

“On the Border has historically been the most popular Fayetteville After Five to Fayetteville,” said Sarahgrace Snipes, the executive director of the Fayetteville Dogwood Festival.

Based on comments posted on the YouTube page for the group, On the Border is a highly regarded covers band.

Native sons and musical vets Rivermist – which according to its Facebook page has been voted best band in Fayetteville for six years straight - will perform July 15.

Wrapping up the season is Zoso, the Ultimate Led Zeppelin Experience. That concert is scheduled for Aug.12.

Opening acts will be announced later.

Food trucks will be available on-site for the shows. No outside food or beverages are allowed within Festival Park.
