The Fayetteville Fury indoor soccer Women’s Team has officially entered the USL W League for the 2024 season, according to a release.
The nation’s premier pre-professional soccer league, the USL W is known for its commitment to foster talent on and off the field, empower women in sports, promote gender equity and provide unparalleled career development opportunities for its athletes, the release said.
The league bridges the gap between collegiate and professional soccer and serves as a platform for the next generation of female soccer stars, the release said. In its second season, the W League had 65 teams competing across 23 states.
