Update: Fayetteville man charged in fatal stabbing

A Fayetteville man has been changed in a fatal stabbing that happened early Thursday on Bayfield Loop.

Sharode O’Neal Bradley, 32, of the 400 block of Horseshoe Road, has been charged with first-degree murder in the death of Alan Joseph Trump, Fayetteville police said in a release.

Bradley is in the Cumberland County Detention Center under no bond.  

Police responded to a reported disturbance just after 4 a.m. on the 200 block of Bayfield Loop.

Officers did not find anyone when they arrived, but there was evidence of a disturbance, police said.

A short time later, officers learned a man who had been stabbed had been taken by private vehicle to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

Trump, 24, of the 7000 block of Sandy Creek Road, Stedman, was pronounced dead at the hospital, police said.
