Fred Goldman Stout, 67, of St. Pauls, N.C., passed away on July 25, 2023, at UNC Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton.
Fred was born on Jan. 10, 1956, in Palo Pinto County, Texas, to the late Frank William Stout and Nettie Lynn (Anderson) Stout. He was a veteran and spent the beginning of his career serving in the United States Navy. He later became a truck driver. He was an amazing artist who had a love for writing stories and listening to rock ‘n’ roll music. He also had a deep love for his animals.
He is survived by his daughter, Melanie Ann Banks-Scrudder, and her husband, John, of Fayetteville, N.C.; brother, Bill Stout of Tampa, Florida; sister, Deborah Lovelady-Pearson of Sumter, South Carolina; grandson, Tiziano Herrera; and many extended family members and friends.
