Habitat dedicates home in Oakridge Estates

The Fayetteville Area Habitat for Humanity on Friday dedicated a new home in the Oakridge Estate community.

Homeowner Kareemah Evans celebrated the occasion with family, Habitat staff and volunteers and community leaders, the organization said in a release.

Fayetteville Area Habitat for Humanity has built and sold over 200 homes since 1988, the release said.

Friday’s ceremony marked the 43rd home built and sold in the past three years in Oakridge Estate, the release said. The agency plans to close on the last four homes in Oakridge this summer.
