The Arts Council of Fayetteville | Cumberland County has announced a new grant program that will provide additional support for Cumberland County’s underserved communities and the cultural arts sector.

The Inclusive Outreach Grant program is designed to increase funding for agencies to receive support for cultural arts programs that promote diversity, equity, accessibility and inclusion outreach and that impact traditionally underserved constituencies in Cumberland County including, but not limited to, BIPOC (Black, Indigenous and people of color) populations, LGBTQIA+ populations, and cultural arts agencies that represent persons with disabilities.

Grants range from $3,000 to $15,000 per award. With the competitive grant process, the Arts Council aims to fund five to eight new programs in the 2022-23 fiscal year.

Funding for the Inclusive Outreach Grants is provided through the North Carolina Arts Council’s Grassroots American Rescue Plan Act allocation.
