The Art Council's 45th annual International Folk Festival is scheduled for Sept. 22 through Sept. 24 in downtown Fayetteville and Festival Park, 355 Ray Ave. This three-day event is free to attend.
The new Taste of Folk Festival vouchers will allow you to savor small tasting plates and try a variety of dishes from different nations. This year's International Folk Festival will also feature a hot-air balloon ride, and attendees could win a chance to ride the balloon on Saturday evening in Festival Park.
The Parade of Nations will officially kick off the festival on Saturday at 10 a.m. on Hay St., and the festivities will continue until 9 p.m. that night. Return on Sunday from 1 to 7 p.m. for even more performances, food, and live music.
