Introducing Chef Richard Gonzalez

The CityView Foodie welcomes contributing chef Richard Gonzalez, a born and raised New Yorker who now calls Fayetteville home. Having trained in New York City at the International Culinary Center (formerly the French Culinary Institute), he has a wide range of training and says he “fears nothing in the kitchen.”

He says he loves to cook with gusto and flavor but also bring a simplicity to the kitchen. He loves to explore and cook all different types of food, but he gets his most joy cooking a rack of ribs. His cooking is heavily influenced by his environment and how he is feeling. From a vegan soup, to a light summery salad, or a good old-fashioned plate of chicken and rice, he says nothing is out of bounds.
