Jane Kiney Creech Albertson, age 80, of Fayetteville, passed away on Sunday, November 10, 2024. She was born on November 6, 1944, in Duplin County to the late Dorson and Kiney Creech.
Jane was preceded in death by her parents; her two brothers, Frank Creech and Jimmy Creech; and her sister-in-law, Ann Creech. She leaves behind her loving husband, Andrew J. Albertson; her children, Jeffrey J. Albertson and wife, Cindy, and Alison Walters and husband, Preston; her grandchildren, Amanda A. Lucas and husband, Chris, Lauren A. Spell, and Andrew D. Albertson; her great-grandchildren, Talan B. Lucas, Kamryn D. Lucas, Brayden D. Bowden, Hunter W. Spell, Hensleigh J. Albertson, Saylor D. Albertson, and Jaxton J. Albertson; and her sister-in-law, Geraldine C. Futrell.
Jane was raised in Wallace, NC, and later moved to Fayetteville in 1972. She married the love of her life, Andrew, on August 10, 1962, and they shared 62 wonderful years together. Jane loved her family deeply and especially enjoyed cooking for everyone, working in her yard, and expressing her creativity through interior design and decorating. Known for her hospitality, she had a special gift for serving others. Over the years, she worked as a surgical tech and held positions at a fabric store, Swain’s Furniture, and Rhudy’s Jewelry and Furniture.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 13, 2024, from 12:30 to 1:45 p.m. at Beaver Dam Baptist Church. A funeral service will follow at 2 p.m., officiated by Pastor Josh Hughes, with burial at Fayetteville Memorial Park.
