Jose “Ramon” Ramos 83 passed away Monday, January 11, 2023, of natural causes in his home in Spring Lake, North Carolina surrounded by his family.
 
Ramon was born June 6, 1939, in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico to Jose Dolores Ramos and Merida Carmen Rodriquez he moved to Brooklyn, New York in 1954.  
 
In 1959 at the age of 23 he met the love of his life Brunilda Estrada Ramos and married her in 1961.  After marriage they created a family of 3 lived in Brooklyn, New York until 1979 where they moved to Spring Lake, North Carolina.
 
 
He was a very hard worker and enjoyed working.  He was in the ARMY for a short period and after that he held many jobs: a pleated women skirt factory, a truck driver, a Foreman at Sharon Harris Nuclear Power Plant, and then Weather Bros. Moving Co. where he suffered a heart attack and later was retired disabled.  On his free time Ramon enjoyed spending time with his wife, playing music, dancing, fishing, traveling and laughing. 
 
 
Ramon is Survived by his wife Brunilda E. Ramos, and 3 Children daughter Brunilda “Dottie” Ramos of Spring Lake, son Jose Ramon “Sassy” Ramos Jr. and his Wife DaMari “Toyo” Rocafort of Middleburg FL, daughter Andreana “Kinky” Graham and her Husband Retired SSG Aaron “Iran” Graham of Newberry, FL 4 Grand Children Julianna “Juli” Melendez, Robert Anthony Creminis, 1LT Alexander “Chacho” Graham, Sgt Adonis “Cito” Graham,  6 Great Grand Children Nathaniel, Ziani, Axel, Alana, Riker, and Elliott and 2 Sisters Minerva Gonzalez, Leida Sepulveda and many nieces and nephews.  He was Preceded by his parents, and siblings Freddy, Lilian, Robert, Lola, Mary, and Jose Delores.  
 
The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 14, 2023 from 5-7 p.m. at Adcock Funeral Home in Spring Lake.  A funeral service will be held on Sunday, January 15, 2023 at 2 p.m. at Adcock Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Riverview Memorial Gardens, Spring Lake, NC.
